Sonny The Super Spur

Heung Min Son the South Korean superstar and Tottenham Hotspur hero got off to a flyer on the opening weekend of the premier league season. Son constantly looked a threat against a very open Manchester City defence. Son spearheaded a Spurs attack consisting of Moura and Bergwijn, their pace on the counter attack constantly threatened the reigning champions' goal and they eventually got their breakthrough in the 55th minute. Steven Bergwijn broke through the middle of the pitch before slotting a ball into Son's path which was finished superbly well into the bottom left hand corner of Ederson's goal. Spurs' present team may of looked significantly weaker on paper in comparison to the Citizens however, they showed great character and spirit to beat one of the premier league title favourites. With a considerably weak team in comparison to the 'top dogs' in the premier league Tottenham provided a great account of themselves. Any team with a player of Son's elegance and class can not be ruled out of any game. With the absence of Kane within this game (and potentially the whole season) this could be the beginning of a rollercoaster ride for Tottenham. After beating one of the best teams in the league Nuno's boys may have something to be optimistic about. With incredible pace and composure at the top of the pitch and the introduction of midfield general Oliver Skipp Spurs may have a chance against anyone.
