Newcastle vs Leeds
3-2
Leeds have been all over the place in recent fixtures and I am expecting more of the same. Newcastle have entered the season with a different mentality to the last, they were unlucky to lose to Man United and I reckon they will beat this Leeds side.
3-1
Leeds to shock a few tonight, they need to show they’re capabilities. Bamford to bag at St James’s.
Wolves vs Brentford
2-1
Wolves finally won a game against newly promoted Watford, and Brentford finally lost to high-flyers Brighton. This will be a tight affair yet Wolves will come out on top.
2-1
A narrow but comfortable win. Brentford’s honeymoon period is well and truly over. Wolves looked excellent last weekend and will build on that.
Burnley vs Arsenal
2-2
Both sides have had difficult starts to the season and are struggling to pick up any form. Arsenal scraped a win against Norwich and will struggle to break down Burnley. This could be entertaining for all the wrong reasons, mistakes, goals I think it will have it all.
0-3
Arsenal will thrive at Turf Moor. Burnley have impressed away from home, but I think they are vulnerable against the big teams at home. Pepe will tear the Clarets apart.
Liverpool vs Crystal Palace
3-1
Palace will still be buzzing after their thrashing against Spurs and should be looking for another upset, Edouard looked class on his debut and will be hungry for more. Losing Harvey Elliott is disastrous for The Red’s, but they have enough strength in depth to roll over The Eagles.
3-0
A comfortable home win for the Red men for me. Salah thrives on weak defences like Palace’s, this will be no different. Having said that, Milan cut through them quite easily in the week, so they must be wary of the counter attacking threat.
Manchester City vs Southampton
3-0
City may have issues attracting fans into their stadium, but they have no issues when it comes to winning games of football. They have looked brilliant in recent weeks and should easily beat Southampton.
5-0
This is becoming a customary result for City at home. Southampton have been below par all season. City were free scoring and fluid against Leipzig. Long afternoon ahead for the Saints.
Norwich vs Watford
2-0
This is a must win game for The Canaries and I think that their home crowd will push them over the line. Watford are struggling at the moment, Norwich need to pounce to get their season up and running.
1-1
Could be an interesting tie, potentially a 6-pointer come later in the season. Watford won by a goal to nil in both games in the Championship, so they will be in high spirits.
Aston Villa vs Everton
3-1
Although losing 3-0 to Chelsea Villa were actually the better team for the majority of the game. Everton lack consistency and look as if they have a mistake in them at any moment, Rafa has done well so far but Villa’s quality will shine through.
3-2
An enthralling game at hand here. Everton on a high from a good 10 minutes vs Burnley, but that’s all it was. They were unconvincing for large parts of the game. Villa must fancy themselves to out score on Saturday.
Brighton vs Leicester
2-1
Brighton produced a late winner against Brentford to continue their outstanding run. Leicester are fresh from disappointments in both Europe and the league, they will be keen to bounce back. Soyuncu looks nervous in the Leicester defence and Fofana has been a big miss so far for The Foxes, I cannot see them keeping this Brighton side at bay.
1-1
Leicester capitulated in the week, Brighton on great form. Predicting a simple tactical onslaught, resulting in a bland stalemate.
West Ham vs Manchester United
2-2
West Ham will be disappointed with their last result but looked scintillating in Europe on Thursday. United have a team of superstars with a Championship esque manager, realistically the only reason the Manchester club will not win anything this year will be due to the Norwegian. An exciting game for sure Antonio is a big miss for the Hammers but they will still flourish without him.
2-1
A bad week for United will be topped off in the Capital. West Ham have been sensational this season in all comps, and they will be raring to go on Sunday. Utd will struggle.
Tottenham vs Chelsea
0-4
A fierce London derby to end Sunday with, how does that sound? An entertaining game may be less eventful as usual due to how bad Spurs are at the moment. Chelsea do not concede, they win games for fun, this is going to be embarrassing for the North London club.
0-4
Should be a routine away win for Chelsea against poor opposition. Spurs have looked completely hopeless in recent days, and it is not likely to change against the Champions of Europe.
